A 2026 Pew survey of 774 Hispanic registered voters finds that Latino supporters of Democratic House candidates are substantially more engaged than they were in 2022: a jump from 58% to 77% saying control of Congress 'really matters', 41% to 53% 'extremely motivated' to vote, and 24% to 45% having 'given a lot of thought' to the election. By contrast, Latino Republican supporters show weaker engagement this cycle.
— Rising Democratic engagement among Latino voters can shift turnout margins in competitive House districts, reshape campaign resource allocation, and alter national party messaging ahead of future elections.
