Quarter of trials may be bogus

This raises urgent questions about which treatments, guidelines and policies rest on unreliable evidence and which institutions are failing to verify trial data. — If a large share of clinical trials is untrustworthy, patient safety, regulatory approvals, clinical guidelines and public trust in medicine all require immediate policy and institutional fixes.
